Meryll, not sure about a fitting date yet. They usually do them in the week which is a bit of a problem for me, and also I'm over my usual weight so i think I'll wait for a bit. I've got plenty of time! I would never have guessed that you liked the skirt

I'm going to go and have a look at it as soon as I can get over there on the weekend, and I want to make sure my jewellery will go too.

Alex -- Your gown is gorgeous! How can you resist running right over to see it? Actually, now that I think about it, my bridal salon said that as soon as mine comes in I have to inspect it within a certain amount of time or accept it "as is" which makes me very nervous considering it is due in only 2.5months before our VR. Can't wait to see pix of you in yours!

Awww, thank you. Glad you liked everything - I've modified my shoes and have stuck hidden mickeys on the heels and the arch! I've also stuck a few on the front along with the original stones and they look brilliant!

so far we have managed to incorporate over 20 hidden mickeys!

I'll take some pictures of my shoes and post them for you. I bought some nail charms and they are on my necklace, bag, wallet and shoes. They are really small as they are nail charms and look really cute. The stones are a bit more obvious, but only if you know where to look!

I went to try my dress on this week - OMG!!! It is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous and talk about feeling like a million dollars. My shoes looked like they were made to go with the dress, and so did my jewellery. I AM SO HAPPY!!

I didn't take a photo as DF would have found it and also some people coming to the wedding read this PJ so they would have seen it too.

I won't be putting it on again until next year but it was worth every (or should that be many) pennies I spent on it.

Awwww I'm really happy for you!! I had a letter at the end of last week saying that my dress had come in, so I'm going to see if I can arrange a fitting asap. Although, I still havent chosen my underwear and accessories yet so maybe I should get them sorted before I pick a date!
