Alcohol?

We are staying at POR and are going to order beer, wine and soda. GG stated they will deliver it to the bell station. Can I call them to deliver it to the room? (ofcourse with a nice tip). I just don't want to have to carry it all the way to the room!

Yep, bell services will bring everything to the room for you, just call them as soon as you get to your room. :) We usually schedule Garden Grocer to deliver to bell services just about the time our plane is landing. Then if our room happens to be ready right away bell services can bring it as soon as we get there.

I was going to suggest the airport, too. Thinking about it though, I don't remember seeing any stores that sold liquor there.

Thanks, but Garden Grocer has a grocery minimum that we won't hit.

We are going with www.beerrun.biz

They said they could drop it off at bell services as well.

You can take the bus to downtown Disney then cross the street. There is a mini mart where you can purchase beer.

I'm staying at the Buena vista palace and was looking for a place to buy drinks, alcohol and refreshments, where is this mini mart??

or you could try wegoshop, they have a fee of $25 for orders under $100. This way you get to pick your favored brand.

Very convenient is the Hess Express, right across the entrance to Pleasure Island. If you don't have a car, this should work out great for you.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! We got home from WDW late last night and wanted to share with everyone what we ended up doing. We flew Southwest, so we were each allowed 2 pieces of "luggage" for free. We each packed a regular suitcase and then had a third piece that was actually a 12 x 12 corrugated box, packed with our liquor, according to the instructions on Southwest airlines specifications. Purchasing it at home and having it shipped for free, then delivered to our room by way of Magical Express....worked out beautifully for us.
