It's possible that you COULD be right in the end. But right now, you only using limited facts to form an educated guess. Just because someone else thinks it will have a different outcome does not mean they are calling you a liar.

It would be like going to a roulette table and calling everyone liars because they didn't bet on the same number as you.

Well I didnt come to the diz board with a prepared scientific paper to proof my opinion........

It really is logical and beyond my expriences at f and w, many others have posted on the parks broads about the problems they have had and telling folks not to go on Friday, saturday and Sundays nights.

where's the "mod who closes things"? this thread has pretty much run its course.

I'm a SHE!

And that's not calling you a liar.

See below...Grandma. See my tag...Grandma Oboe. That would lead one to believe I am a woman.

My pardon I didnt see it, just a silly old ex deep water sailor here............and yes it was calling me a lair.

He was giving you an example of Anecdotal evidence. You are saying because YOU saw it, it's the norm. He's saying because he didn't see it, it's not the norm. Anecdotal Evidence...

ENGLISH, DO YOU SPEAK IT?

but there is also many many other folks that have seen the same thing and have posted about it in the parks board..........so its not just me.

Now you can try and read Engish all that the last4 or 5 pages of posts have had, not just what you want to use to try and prove your point!

and there have been an equal number of people who have said differently. It's not just one or two of us. Many people have stated that they have gone multiple times and never witnessed the behavior you witnessed. Are you calling us all liars?? OMG!

That's an oxymoron. I've never understood the term "drink responsibly". A responsible person doesn't use mind altering substances. The moment the first sip passes someone's lips, they are acting irresponsibly.

I'm not saying alcohol should be illegal, but own up to your actions. Drinking is irresponsible no matter how much or little you drink. Every alcoholic started with "just a drink". No one sets out to drink and drive, but it happens a lot and kills lots of innocent people. Drinking can never be responsible.

As far as Magic Kingdom, I don't think serving wine at Be Our Guest is the end of the world, but I do find it sad how people are so obsessed with alcohol to the point they can't go more than a few hours without guzzling it down. I think it's sad that adults can't exercise personal self control and refrain from drinking for such the short period of time they are in Magic Kingdom. If you need alcohol to enjoy Disney then you are probably taking the wrong type of vacation.

Oh puh-leez! :snooty: Get off you high horse. That post basically says anyone who has ever touched alcohol to their lips is irresponsibe person who winds up being a guzzling drunk. :sad2: Unbelievable.

I'm on vacation just like you, and if I want to have a beer or two, I have that right. And NO, I'm not jumping in my car! And NO, I am not peeing in the bushes! And NO, I am not stumbling all over the park and over my child. I'm just minding my own business having a good time and if WDW wants to serve me a drink I have the option to say "yes, please."

Geesh! Lighten up. Not all people who drink are alcoholics.

I'm more concerned about the "entitled" guests than the drunk ones.

:thumbsup2

I don't understand what the big deal is. So you can have a drink during dinner. One drink doesn't make an obnoxious drunk. It's not like they are going to allow you to bring the glass of wine outside the restaurant while you are waiting for Peter Pan or something.

It is a totally different experience than Epcot that has people carrying around drinks with them. I also don't know where people see all these obnoxious drunks in Epcot. In the 50+ times I have been to Disney I have never observed anyone being an obnoxious drunk. Maybe I am too busy having fun. I don't know. :confused3

Me either. I've never seen it. But then again, I'm not looking for it. I'm looking for the Grand Marnier slushie cart. ;) (that's a joke people)

I don't actually have a point to prove.

Not at all as I have repeated noted, Just becuse you have not seen them does not mean that I have not seen them or that they are not real, only that you didnt see them.

That's the point exactly. We (i'm grouping some people together here) DID NOT see them. So they were either not there when we were there (which does not imply they weren't there when you were) or they weren't causing a commotion or detracting from our experience.

Which is to say, they weren't a problem "in our experience".

There are several pictures of Walt smoking cigarettes. He lived in a time when practically everyone smoked and drank. Before people were aware of the dangers of cancer etc. There are actually old cartoons with Mickey smoking and drinking from jugs labeled xxx. I can't see how anyone can "guess" what he would or would not have wanted. Basically, by stating "Walt wouldn't want alcohol" what you really mean is YOU don't want alcohol in the MK. Personally, it doesn't change my life or my trip either way aside from maybe getting to have a glass of wine with dinner (which I would enjoy, but would also be fine without). People and their righteous views are even more irritating that a screaming kid sitting behind me at California Grill.

Dam I just took another look at your psot...........how did I miss those cute kids!.........sorry I really did miss that! I was not trying to be rude at all!

AKK

That's my sweet grandbaby. Isn't he a doll. Can't wait to be able to bring him to Disney!
