Alaskan cruisers: Did you find the helicopter dogsled worth it

My husband is an engineer and he doesn’t want to get on a helicopter. He also hates small planes. He used to work for a really wealthy man who would sometimes insist on them taking his small private plane to out of town business meetings. My husband hated it.

Was it a small 2-4 person one? Hoping if I get brave that these are the big helicopters that hold more than 10, etc.

In juneau, we booked a private limo. City tour, mendenhall glacier, panning for gold and a few scenic photo stops, a stop at the beach. It was wonderful. Our kids thought that they were rock stars. https://juneaulimousineservices.com/

ETA: We saw eagles and bears catching salmon. My husband and kids could of panned all day. We ended up having ime at the end of our tour and we panned for gold a second time.

We've done two Alaskan cruises - did the helicopter to the glacier (without dogsled) on the first one, and loved it so much that it's the only excursion we repeated the second time around!

We did a float plane trip in Ketchikan with Island Wings and it was fantastic. Our other fave was a small boat trip up the Tracy Arm Fjord to the glaciers. Saw bears, whales, seals, sea lions etc. it was amazing.

We did a helicopter and dog sled tour separately so not exactly what you asked. LOVED the helicopter, didn't care for the sledding myself. I would do the helicopter again in a second but not the dog sledding.
