Alaskan Cruise questions

I called MS trying to make reservation for an Alaskan cruise for July 2007. I was told negotiation has not been completed with Holland America yet so no dates are available. They told me to call back every week to check. I looked at the DVC member website and it says I can make reservation 11 months to 14 days in advance and the point chart for Alaskan cruise for 2007 is out. So what's going on?

Wish I knew what was going on. There are several of us here who have been waiting for the dates to be released for quite some time. It's very frustrating, to say the least...especially since the dates on HAL's websites are starting to fill and I'm worried about availability.

We had hoped to go for our anniversary. Don't know if that's going to happen now

I'd suggest renting your points and using the cash to go with Princess instead. And book soon, because the good rooms go quickly. While you're waiting to be able to book with points, the best rooms are being taken by those paying cash.
