Up early for Epcot early entry! Now we almost changed our schedule when the news had come out a few weeks earlier that Test Track was closed for a few days. But we decided to go ahead and see the other stuff at Epcot. We were one of the first guest parking cars in the parking lot. We went and stood at one of the gates and within five minutes they were opening the gates and we were inside! We went right to Spaceship Earth and rode it. Next was Wonders of Life with Body Wars and Cranium Command. At that point we wandered around the exhibits there a while and then made our way over to the other side to see Honey I shrunk the Audience. We were a little before nine o’clock so we had to wait until the official time but then we went right to Honey I shrunk the Audience. The 3D theater is so cool and realistic! My sister was warned about the mice and the snake but they still were awful! We then rode the new Imagination ride and it was actually better than I thought that it would be. I was fairly prepared for awful so it wasn’t that bad.. We then played with the exhibits a while and played out with the water. The boys really enjoyed the water jumping from place to place. Living Seas was next and we skipped the movie and went right to the ride. No one seemed too excited about this place so we didn’t stay too long.

We then walked over to the World Showcase. We had an 11:30 PS for Mexico so we rode the Norway rid e first and then over to Mexico. I love riding the Norway ride with no lines. We went to Mexico and shopped before our meal. All morning, Bethany’s eyes had been bothering her. She was wearing her contacts and of course her glasses were back in her room. We figured that it would work itself out but they kept bothering her. She finally stopped here in Mexico and took her contact out to see if that would help and realized that it had a big hole in it. So then she had to finish the morning with limited vision but at least her eyes felt so much better. Our meal was great – we were somewhat squashed into a small table but we did get near the water and all 7 of us at one table.

Then we left the park to go to the room, change into swims uits and on to Typhoon Lagoon. It was fairly crowded but we could find a couple of chairs to throw our stuff on and off to the creek we went. It was so fun to lay in the sun and relax in the water. We went around the park then got out at the Shark pool to watch Gary. He went and did it several times but no one else was interested in going with him at that time. We then checked out the Wave pool. Those big waves are amazing! The kids really enjoyed them for longer than I did. I sat on the side and watched for a while.

Then we went back to the hotel, left the kids to rest and the adults went grocery shopping. This took longer than I had thought and we didn’t get to rest. But it sure was nice the rest of the week to have snacks and pop avai lable. I had wanted to see the electrical parade that night but time just ran out on us. I forget how long it takes to get to the TTC center, then to the monorail, then to the park. We did get there in time to see the Fireworks over the castle. We eve n got to see Tinkerbell fly which I have never seen before. That was really exciting.

Next was E-night at Magic Kingdom. We held up our wrists and got right into Buzz Lightyear. That was wonderful! I think that ended up being our favorite ride to repeat on the trip. We did do Space Mountain next. Now, I am not a space mountain fan but I have done it a couple of times before. I did it again and screamed the whole way through. My voice was hoarse from then on through the trip. At this point the boys wanted to do Space and Buzz again so we split up. I took the boys and Gary and Charlene went with the girls over to Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. We rode Buzz several more times and they ended up not riding Space Mountain after all. We then walked over to Frontier Country to meet the other half. However on the way, I got some horrible pains in my hips and was very concerned about my bursitis ruining the trip. We stopped several times but we did make it to Big Thunder Mountain. We waited a while then the other half of us showed up. They had gone over to the Haunted Mansion and enjoyed that ride. When Charlene and Crystal got into the Doom Buggy, they were all settled in ready to go and then unknown to them the CM stuck her head in and said "Good-bye!" Crystal screamed as she had no idea anyone was there and Charlene laughed about that the whole ride. They also had gotten to ride Splash Mountain twice without getting off so they loved that Then we all rode Big Thunder. This was much scarier for me than I remembered. They offered to let us ride again and I got off and they kept going. They all met me at the exit and we walked back to Buzz Lightyear again. My bursitis acted up again but we prayed for it and I made it through the eve ning. Fortunately, that was the last time that it bothered me on the trip. We left about closing time at 11 pm with lots of people leaving the park. We had wanted some ice cream but the line was so long that we had to pass it for that night much to the kids’ dismay. We got home and fell asleep quickly!

LOL I can see the girls now...laughing their heads off about the cm scaring them. Some CMs really go the extra mile to make things fun dont they.

You don't waste a minute at WDW, do you? I can't believe how much you accomplished on this day, Epcot, TL, grocery shopping and E-night at MK! Wow! Were you absolutely exhausted?

Thanks for taking the time to post this I had a lot of fun reading it.
