Hi All.

I would love some help/advice with the following if possible please.

With our travel dates, we are looking to do HHN on either Thurs 29th Oct or Sunday 1st Nov 2026 (we could do Fri 30th or Sat 31st Oct but I am guessing these would be the busiest of these dates)

Q1. Which night to attend? I thought the Sunday might be quieter as it's after Halloween but hubby thinks as it's the last night it might be busier

Q2. We are from the UK and will have 14 day tickets for Universal (I am aware we will need separate HHN tickets) Will we be able to enter/stay in the park until the event starts?

Q3. Express Pass (we have decided we will definitely need this to make the most of this experience) can you buy this at the same as the HHN tickets? and can you buy from third party companies or only Universal directly?

Q4. When are tickets usually on sale and how quickly do they sell out (if at all?)

We have been to Florida 5 times but are really excited for HHN. Any other advice greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

If you have park tickets you can enter the park before close and stay for HHN. Last year, they introduced wristbands. They had a couple of locations. Scan your HHN ticket and then get a wristband. You can wonder around the park. At 4 pm, they let you line up for houses. 3 opened at 515 pm, some at 530 pm , some at 6 pm.

You can buy an express pass at the same time as your HHN ticket. Only from Universal. Express lets you use the express line one time per house.

I would think Sunday Nov 1 would be slightly less crowded than Thursday before Halloween. Sunday will definitely have the hardcore HHN fans there but probably not the regular tourists. A great perk of going late in the season is a lot of the merchandise is marked down a lot.

We went last year arrived Friday Oct 31 but only went to city walk for the ambiance. Nov 1 was our HHN evening we had express pass arriving at 6pm going through the entrance for hotel guests and experienced all of the houses by 10:30 it’s was so great now we didn’t stop to ride any rides it was just the two of us and my friend isn’t a big ride goer so we focused on everything HHN like the scare zones food and drink. I would get express pass as soon as you know as the price goes up the closer you get to your dates. I also liked the 70% off merch . Have fun it’s a blast
