We are thinking of booking an alaska cruise for this summer. It seems there is still a ton of availability. Any predictions or ideas of discounts that might be offered and when? I haven't noticed any category 12's being offered this year on cruises, even the transatlantic cruise hasn't had a discount like last years did. Any idea why or is this just the new normal?

I have noticed the second sailing to Alaska has been dropped in price... I believe the May 10th sailing... We are sailing on May 31st, so I've been keeping tabs- that seems to be the only sail date on "sale"....

If they do offer discounts, it likely won't be until after the final payment window passes and even then it will likely be for the shoulder season assuming they do discount. Our July 12th cruise has risen in price by over $1,000 since we booked it on day one so I wouldn't count on mid-summer cruises being discounted.

Give "Dreams Unlimited" a try...you may get the discounted price, plus on board credit!?!
you'll have to put in a request.

Doesn't hurt to try
