I will have my hubby work with it so that it works for shirts and such...I am lousy at that kind of stuff but he isn't - will get it as soon as possible for everyone.

Hopefully this weekend. I am in charge of the Girl Scouts in our area for cookies and tomorrow our delivery arrives - 40,000 boxes. Once that gets taken care of and I sort my troop's own...I should have some free time.

Good luck with the cookie sales Des. Hope Tori has fun. I can still remember walking the neighborhood when I was in scouts taking orders and then delivering them. Nowadays I just give the girls $$ when I see their booth sales. It is much healthier for me

I have started to put some research into what we will be seeing and doing in Alaska. So I would love some feed back and also any ideas on what you feel is a must do. I am already saying my $$. The tours are so so expensive.

Skagway: Whit pass or
Liarsville & Salmon Bake
In the afternoon me & my son Ice climbing
Juneau : Me & Son Dog Sledding
Nana & Daughter summer dog sled camp
and then maybe
Nana & Son Glacier trek
Me & Daughter hang out
Ketchikan: Bear tour/Sea plane

This is the DREAm list. Lost of $$$. Any thoughts? The Bear tour seems amazing. I found an independent tour. Family owned.

We going on a MR cruise during the last week so I am a little nervous if everything will get done.

Everything went well today and I am exhausted so I am calling it a night.

We've started looking at tours too, but the times are not up on the DCL site yet that I can find. Do you know there will be enough time to do two different excursions are is your list based on doing everything on your own?

In Skagway I have a tour booked with dyea dave. dyeadavetours dot com/tours.htm

I booked the carcross, yukon & Emerald lake.

Juneau it will be whale watching (not Disney's)

and Ketchika I will book with Disney for the Bearing se crab fisherman tour.

This will be my second time iwth Dyea Dave. The frist time was 2009 and we did the Trip to Dyea. In my pics that is where we say the bears.

Thanks for the help! I had read some reviews of other Alaska cruises from folks who had difficulties booking excursions outside their ship so we are a bit hesitant to do so. Either the tour operator wouldn't book if arriving by ship or they were given second priority over cruise passengers.

Dyea Dave is not like that but I know others are. Same goes with some in MR. The cruise ship use them so then they wont let you book with them direct even though it is cheaper.

First, who the cute little one with Snow White? So sweet!! My daughter will be coming with us and she will be almost 5.

I would love to get the times on Disney's tours. This would be a great help. We book a lot outside Disney. I have done tones of research with lots of feedback. So far, anyone I have liked have been MORE than helpful. I have also crossed many off my list.
My Three favorite are : North Star Trek. Very helpful
A climbing company in Skagway. They were on the phone with me for an hour planning. And have followed up great. I want to ice climb with them. Anyone want to join us or my 13 year old son?
3. Is the bear watching in Ketchikan. I read so many good things about this one and one the phone the owner was great. He even knew the times we arrive. Which is late.
The prices seem to be better too.
