Alamo rental, can you rent for someone else?

My friend has QS and is asking me if she can rent a car for her daughter under her QS #? I would think yes since it is a business thing and they must do that a lot??? But I am thinking the drivers and such... how can she do this? They are going in May so she is trying to make it so her DD doesn't have to wait in line since they wont have to. What do you think?

As far as I know, it's strict policy for all the rental car companies that the person whose name is on the contract MUST be the person who uses the car. Additional drivers can be added, but if your friend is not with her DD, the DD will NOT be able to rent a car unless it is in her own name.

If the DD is under 25 and they simply want to avoid those outrageous charges to under-25 drivers, well, it's not possible.

If the issue is only QS membership, the DD can get a QS membership herself free. All she has to do is list Mom's business as her employerl then she can rent in her own name with QS bennefits.

Thanks! She is over 25. I just hope she can get a QS # quick. They will be staying at the same place and together 90% of the time, but I guess it is easy enough for her to get her own. Thanks!
