So odd. I tried my dates of the 21st-28th and nothing under 350 bucks with that same exact code!

I did book yesterday morning with Enterprise for $125.99 on a Intermediate though.

So I have that and Dollar at $124.53 for a Mid Size. Maybe both will come down some more! Not having any luck with Alamo.

Not sure if this helps or just my luck but I have booked both my cars at like 5am and got the best rates by a long shot. Maybe give it a try!?!? :confused3

I used my AP and insider with the AA code and got a full size car for $95 total with taxes and fees for 1 May-8 May.

We had a minivan but to save $100 I will take the full size and let ME take the luggage.

Who's riding the ME with the luggage?

I'm just curious. If I rent a car using these codes do I need to have anything with me at pick up to keep the discounts? A coupon, a member card, etc. I'd hate to book with the codes, get such a great price, then have to pay more when I get there without necessary paperwork.

TIA

I do have my alamo insider card and my AA travel card. Actually I just travel with a stack of membership cards as different places give discounts.

They are all free and just take a moment to sign up. Usually you can print out a temp card.

most of the memberships are instant except of course costco. but if you rent with alamo and use the kiosk, there is no one to show anything to. the only person that could even ask for anything is the valet when you are exiting and at that point in the game i honestly can't see them caring....

Thank you for posting that! So when it says "Web Offer Code" then do I have to show anything when I pick up the car?

Bummed :( purchased our plane tickets (AirTran) and rental car (Avis) on Orbitz as a package. Paid $158 for a Midsize rental for May 7-14. Through Alamo we can now get a Standard size car for the week for $100! Called orbitz to find out about canceling rental car, they charge $25! And hubby refuses to let me cancel for fear they'll screw up our airline tickets :(

nope. When you are checking out and making the alamo ressie if something is required big print shows at top of screen sayin "may need physical coupon" or something along those lines. But again, at a kiosk that is self serve.....?

I ended up renting with Alamos Insider rate and got a standard size from June 15-26 for $213, which saved $125 off my already good rate with National that was $340 so THANK YOU OP!!!

Not sure if anyone is using Autoslash but I'm giving it a try. What is does is track your reservation for any changes in the prices (lower) and will email you when that happens.

Just tried their normal car rental screen and they had some decent prices. Dont know much about Fox Rental company but they have a shuttle and their prices are cheaper than what I currently have. Looks like they only have one in terminal the other three companies are shuttle. So if you have sky high prices check them out maybe you can find something you like. YMMV

Thank you. Really good to know.

Thank you OP! Glad I saw your thread when I did because my same rental went from $213 to $756when I checked today to see if it had gone lower! :scared1:

I just got back from a WDW trip last night.

thanks largely to following this board, I paid an incredible $60 for a mid size, Sat-Fri, April 28-May 4. Alamo, Costco and the $35 coupon code.

Insane! I had alot of driving to do, and actually grabbed a compact to save on gas.

Alamo rates on full size car are crazy low tonight....$75 for June 4-10.

Used VISA discount plus Alamo Insider, too. Got total, tax/fees included to $75 and change!
