Alamo onsite at MCO

I just found out today, that Alamo is now an ONSITE at MCO. National and Alamo are owned by the same parent company, and Alamo has replaced Nat'l as the official rental car of WDW. (I imagine that's why it is now onsite!) Our next trip is for 10 days in May. What I also discovered is that the weekly rate at Alamo was slightly higher than some other companies (with all applied discounts), BUT...the daily rate was much lower, bringing the grand total to the lowest available rate I could find! If you're renting for more than a week, be sure to check the DAILY rates too. Dollar, which is consistently the lowest weekly, had much higher daily rates.

We've gotten Alamo several times via Priceline. Originally, their cars used to have lots of miles and be rather dinged up (although still mechanically sound). But it seems like since they became part of National, the cars are newer and in better shape. Recently, we've had a couple with under a thousand miles on them & still with that new-car smell!
