Alamo online check in with upgrade coupon

I just made a reservation with Alamo using the Costco Code and the Costco upgrade coupon. I reserved a Midsize, but my confirmation reads Standard - meaning that the coupon was applied in the confirmation.

Does anyone know whether we will be able to check in online and bypass the line? I think I've read that there are problems with the bypass the line if a coupon is used. Is that true of an upgrade coupon as well? We'd be happy with the smaller vehicle, so if the upgrade coupon is going to cost us time, I'll redo the reservation without the coupon. We usually rent with National because we really like being able to just walk out and choose a vehicle. Alamo is significantly cheaper this time round, so we'll give them a try.

I do not know if you can bypass altogether, I do not use online check in because I add a driver when I get to MCO. But I always use the kiosk and it takes no more than 3 minutes and I have never had a coupon glitch using the kiosk. We go right to the kiosk and get back to baggage claim before any bags even come out. Have done this dozens of times.
