Alamo @ Dolphin

Hi,

we have a rental car to be picked up from Alamo at that station:

ALAMO ORLANDO DISNEY DOLPHIN, 1500 EPCOT RESORT BLVD., FLORIDA
32822 ORLANDO

I assume this is the Station at the Dolphin resort or ?

We are staying at Coronado springs - do you know if Alamo will shuttle me to their station or even deliver the car to Coronado springs ? Or must I take Disney transportation to reach the Dolphin or even a Cab ?

There are two locations you can pick up your car from Alamo.
One is at the Dolphin Hotel, location code ORLR 74, the other is at the Car Care Center, location code ORLR 72.
Although I have never used the service I am told that Alamo does provide pick up service from the CCC location, not so from the Dolphin.

CCC hours M-F 6:00am to 8:00pm
S-S 6:00am to 6:00pm

You can call 1 hour to 1 day before rental to schedule a pickup (407) 824-3470

If you opt to rent via the Dolphin, note that the rental car desk runs short hours (8 am to 4 pm). You can return the car outside the hours; drop it off with valet and they will give you a receipt with return time. Also, Alamo and National are the same at the Dolphin.

I've not heard of there being a shuttle to the Dolphin, just to the car care center.

If you did not want to take at taxi to the Dolphin, you can take a bus to DHS and then the boat to the Dolphin (you can also walk from DHS to the Dolphin).

I don't know what time you're picking up your car, but if you're at Epcot, you can also walk or take the friendship boat from the International Gateway at Epcot over to the Dolphin.

If you're not already at Epcot, then I agree - take a bus to DHS then the friendship boat over to the Dolphin. This will eat up a bit of time, so I'd weigh that versus a taxi.

We will try to change our reservation over to the ccc which seems to be more easy to reach and offers the shuttle service...
