Alamo combining discounts question

I notice that Alamo's website lets you use the $20.00 off coupon in addition to a rate code (Walmart code 430710). I know alot of people on here have made their reservation using both, I just wonder if we will have trouble actually getting the car for that rate seeing as though the $20.00 off coupon states that it cannot be combined with any other discount? I am hesitant to book using both as I am afraid they will tell me the rate is not valid once I get there and then I will be stuck paying some crazy rate. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this?

As long as you have the coupon, you will be OK. Lots of us have combined codes with discount coupon. I am using the AMEX code and the Ent Book Coupon.

We have never had a problem combining a coupon with the Walmart code and we have been doing it for the last few trips down there.
