As if some local sports dork yukking it up with your run of the mill, anytown ZOO morning show radio host has the same credibility as any of the major networks...Fox News included!!![]()
A quick Google News search led me to the fake blog site (just typed "al sharpton vick dolphins").
Try Google sometime, you'll like it.

And I am sure you would confirm a MSNBC story before posting.![]()

I was ribbing Dawn, thus the use of my smilies. She got it. I guess you didn't.
Also, I don't a local sports dude would really be in the same category of MSNBC or any other national news site.![]()

Dolphins with spears.... interesting. What about sharks with laser beams on their heads?![]()
Laugh all you want. It was orginally reported out of MSNBC. Here is the link with the retraction.
That's why I have a bit of a problem with all major news sources these days. When I first read the OP, it took me a minute to find the blog in question and after reading that it didn't take long to figure out the whole site was a hoax. What kind of fact checkers do the media use these days?Laugh all you want. It was orginally reported out of MSNBC. Here is the link with the retraction.

Duh, now it is. It was orginally reported as legit.
BTW, I found the MSNBC link on Google![]()

ETA: I wouldn't want to be the MSNBC fact checker.![]()
In my pool we have sea bass with laser beams attached to their heads. Sea bass can be a fairly viscious fish. Sharks were not available and take up too much space.
He's a jerk but I don't think he was ever convicted of anything like that. You may be thinking of Don King, the boxing promoter. They both have funny hair.![]()

When I ask for sharks with frickin' laser beams on their heads, I expect sharks with frickin' laser beams on their heads!
I see your point now...MSNBC, and anyone else who couldn't easily see that that blog was an obvious hoax should hang their head in shame, especially in light of how Sharpton came out so strongly against dogfighting!
True! But then again, it can be hard to parody someone who is a walking talking breathy parody in and of himself.
The thing that gave it away for me was the Brett Farve is from Louisianna, so clearly he would prefer Rooster Fighting (sorry the real term is censored) over dolphin jousting.
