Al Sharpton's Comments on Michael Vick.

I can't find the link but I heard it on the sport's broadcast on WTIC radio this morning. Sharpton said that Vick is being prosecuted because he is a black man and that "if Bret Favre attached spears to dolphins in his swimming pool, the police would have showed up to watch!" Haven't we had enough of Al Sharpton???

Al Sharpton went to jail for murdering someone years ago. I am so sick of listening to him. They should send him to a desserted island. He only jumps on the civil rights bandwagon when publicity is involved. You don't see him going to low income neighborhoods (no matter what ethnicity is prevalent there) and teaching them or helping them to become successful. He is a glory hound. Whenever he speaks all that comes out is the same sound as Charlie Brown's teacher IMHO. I'm sorry to rant but I find him so obnoxious.

He's a jerk but I don't think he was ever convicted of anything like that. You may be thinking of Don King, the boxing promoter. They both have funny hair.

I'm no fan of Al Sharpton, but I think that blog is a fake.

Good ole' Al never misses a chance to get on TV and surprisingly I have seen very, very little of him on any of the news shows doing Vick stories. In the very beginning of this he was on Dan Abrams saying that in this country Vick is innocent until proven guilty and should be given the benefit of the doubt, but then Dan pointed out that he didn't give the Duke lacrosse players this same benefit and I don't think I've seen Al since on the Vick thing.

Actually, just last month, Sharpton put out a statement that went to Vick's corporate sponsors that blasted Vick's actions and dogfighting all together.
