I haven't seen it yet but I am sure I will sometime this year, and I am sure I will like it. I was tired of IASW anyway, once I got past the age of 20, and I really only ride it now when it is in its holiday overlay form. The new stuff will give me an excuse to ride it again. The only problem I think I will have is that, because I looked at photos online last week, now I know where all the characters are in the ride. I think I would have had fun trying to spot them, but I spoiled it for myself.

Some of the additions seemed slightly questionable to me, or like they were put in odd locations just to work them in somehow, but it does not deeply, personally offend me or annoy me like it seems to do with Al Lutz. I will still enjoy seeing the new things. Plus, as has been said before, the dolls that have been added in as Disney characters look pretty much like the other dolls in the ride, or in that same style, so it is not like Disney characters were added in in their regular Disney forms. Now
then they would stick out like a sore thumb. This way it seems like they will blend in.
And I should point out, I grew up with the old Small World. I first went on it in 1972, so I mean, I am pretty used to that version of it, but I welcome the changes! Some rides, I think, need some freshening up and some new life infused into them and others would suffer from changes. There was a time when I didn't understand why the 'new Dumbo' area had water put into it while the original version had no water. But now I like the way it looks and it's fine. There are ways to make changes and updates and still maintain the integrity of the rides. The Autopia cars have changed in appearance over the years, too, and the riders got 'licenses,' which never used to happen in the old versions of the ride. Sure, they could keep the ride exactly as it was from the beginning and it would be very retro and cool, but sometimes retro and cool stops being cool after a while and just seems dated and blah.
