AKV Savannah View vs. BCV

Okay how about this one?:
Which would you choose if they were both the same price?:

5 nights in a 2 Bedroom in June at:
AKV (with a Savannah View)
or
BCV (taking into consideration their totally awesome pool)


~ There are 5 of us going, 3 adults and 2 children (8 and 5 yrs.old)

Based on your kid's ages, I voted for AKV. We love having our own view of the animals from our room and the pool is fantastic. Everyone raves about the pool at BC, but I'd be afraid of losing my 5-year-old in it!!!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is just great. Being able to sit in your room or on the balcony and watch the animals is just wonderful. A pool is a pool and are easy to come by at most hotels but being able to sit and watch those animals really is a rare find.

I'm another vote for the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Yes, Stormalong Bay is a GREAT pool, but nothing beats waking up in the morning and seeing a giraffe or zebra outside of your window. My roomate and I took so many pictures from our balcony, and it's the first resort I''ll go back to once I'm done staying at all of them.. heh. The pool at AKL is also really nice, so you have the best of both worlds

We just last Monday returned from a stay at BCV and a tour of the AKV models. My vote is for AKV...no contest! The rooms are awesome, and that view is fabulous (based on our SV room at AKL a few years ago)! SAB was ok, but...and I may be weird...I didn't like the coarse sand! It was huge and uncomfortable under my feet. The kids liked the big area they had to play in though.
Another good thing about AKV is the 2 pull outs in the living room. There is a pull out sofa and a pull out chair. Separation for sleeping for the kids.

I voted AKV because of the animals but also with the ages of your children, as fun as it is, SAB can be a little overwhelming! I rarely got to sit down because it was so huge that I had to keep walking around to keep an eye on them and to cross them to the slides!

Thanks for your input it has helped me in making my decision
I have officially choosen AKV!
We are getting a 2 Bedroom Savannah View and we requested Zebra Trail so that we can be closer to the pool.
