My Guide told me last December that they spent a lot of money building the Preview Center at SSR. So much he didn't see them moving. (It is a great sales location if you consider it's proximity to offsite guests and DTD.)
Marriott did the same thing when they built a sales center at their Grande Vista resort off International Drive. It became their official sales center for Orlando (and in the region).
But my Guide also said they would be doing model rooms. He hinted at the idea at converting some of the SSR rooms. I don't see that happening though. Not while SSR is for sale. And the room configurations will be different in size alone.
How did they handle Beach Club and Boardwalk before they were built? Wasn't it just artist renderings?
