We haven't stay here yet, but hope to on our next trip. Are the entrances to the rooms at the Animal Kingdom Villas inside a hallway like at BCV and BWV or are they outside like at SSR and OKW?

And has anyone make a webpage with info on this resort with pictures? If so, if you have the link, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks

AKV villas (both Jambo and Kidani) have interior hallways like those at BWV, BCV, VWL and BLT.

they are interior and you will enjoy the sculpture, art, tapestries within AKV.

Oh good! I prefer them to be inside. Not sure I understand the parking. Sounds like it is under the resort, so does that make it 'closer' for taking your bags?

I am really excited to stay at a new resort. And the extra bathroom is going to be very nice!

The villas actually start on the second floor with the parking on the first floor if that helps. No villa is at ground level.

Kidani has parking below the rooms and yes it makes getting to the car easy.

You can find photos by clicking the photo link at the top of the page.

There is an unofficial website at www.aklresort.com. Some of the info on the website seems a little outdated, but they have reasonably good information about the resort activities and some nice pictures.

OP, we stayed at Kidani for the first time this past summer and loved the place. Like others have mentioned the decorations and artwork are really cool. The pool areas at both resorts are awesome. We liked the place so much we are staying there again next summer. Would totally recommend a Savannah room also. Having the animals right outside your balcony is very cool. My home resort is BLT, but I really loved the remoteness of AKV. Plus the Mara and Boma are excellent QS and TS restaurants, respectively. :thumbsup2
