AKV reservations...what did you get?????

Ah. I just got off the phone. The CM said her manager called back and they tool my information as to what my request is for room, dates, and view but they will have to call me back with a confirmation number when they can put it in the system.

How can they open it for reservations today and NOT have 2008 information in the system yet to be able to book?

Did she tell you that the reservation WAS made and only the confirmation # is needed?

I'm staying on hold, too, but the CM took my phone # "just in case we get disconnected...".

Finally! I got 2 Savannah View studio's for Nov 18th - 24th . No Standard Views were available for my dates. As we were completing my transaction, the lady stated several times, "Oh my, these are really going fast!" .

Got my ressie 1BR Savannah View for mid-August '07.

Was on hold for over 25 minutes. Went through the 407 number, never could get through on the 800#

I thought AKVs would only be opening rooms in September?

Not that DH has any more vacation time left just curious when DVCers can start staying there.

No. She said they couldn't get the system to work for 2008 because the info isn't there so she wrote down my info and said either her manager would call me with the confirmation or she would call me herself if she heard any news.

I'm afraid now that my info is on a piece of paper somewhere, never to be seen again... I've never had problems with MS before today so I trusted her when she said they'd call me back.

We got what we wanted...2 savannah view studios in September, 16 and 17th, and a standard view studio for December 8th...a Saturday night before VWL.

The first time I reached a person, the connection went bad, so I thought it would be a terrible morning. It took about 20 minutes from the dialing to getting a person the next time, but it went smoothly the second time.

Call back. System is fixed, they can check to see if it's been entered yet, and if not...can enter it for you. Just make sure you explain the whole situation and make sure that CM tells your "original" CM not to enter the ressie twice.

Called at 8:59. Off the phone at 9:15 with my BC for April! ...well one more day of the BC!

Phew!! Done. Now I can go to my little ones graduation!

No problem getting the room. Got a busy signal until nearly 9:30, then on hold for about 15 minutes. No problem after that.

I got in the hold queue at 9 after the hour. Now on the second run-through of the hold music. One hour in 5 minutes. Have not heard any voice telling me how long my wait might be -- other than the generic "longer than usual." I'm getting terribly discouraged.

20 minutes from the time I started dialing (got several busy signals before I got in) until I just got off the phone having made my AKV reservations - 3 nights in a dedicated studio, savannah view, in October. Yay!!!

There are 7 dedicated studios and 7 2BR lockoffs opening some time in July. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether you need to own a Unit that is opening in July in order to use your AKV points to book prior to Sep 1st. (Units 41-45 are in the July 2007 phase, all other Units are in the Sep 2007 phase.)
