akv questions

I was reading the thread about booking at kidani and it lead me to ponder a few things.
eventually will there be a dvc check in area for akv?
I admit I liked OKW and their "welcome homes" and that they assumed you were a member, where as when i stayed at akl they barely understood how it worked let alone the "feel" of membership.

I saw mention of a pool at kidani..will this be a themed pool like at the lodge or just a typical quiet pool?

considering buying at akv but am new to it, I know OKW

AKV will have a great pool - go look on the DVC member site for information on it.

yea, if you villa is at Kidani - you will go there to check in.

Jambo will still have to use AKL.


at akl you have to tell them it is DVC - even when showed them my reservation with DVC printed on it - they were still trying for lodge. So tell them upfront - you are in the DVC part.

loved both of my rooms - standard and value. haven't tried the savannah view yet.

The Kidani pool will be a themed family pool - not a quiet pool - complete with water play/splash area next to it.
