Nice pics mc97 but they don't do the rooms justice. Wife & I really liked the rooms a lot. The bathroom in the 1 and 2 bedroom suites is really impressive. By the way - we were there Tuesday too. When I get the chance I'll post the pictures we took. Right now too busy cleaning up from the flooded basmeent we returned home to.

I'm assuming from your Coast Guard reference you're in southeast CT? We're about 5 miles from Mohegan sun.

Nice to see LOTS of other Nutmeggers around. The storms last week threatened our basement too...but luckily we were able to clear some drains and prevent any flooding.

The giraffe kept taking my attention away from the room I had to block the door with my hand to see what the room looked like ... They look great!

I love the new rooms and a comment from the other thread. Its not mismatched its the overall design. Have you ever been in the AKL lobby? All the sofas and furnishings there are different some styles totally different. It gives it a more homey rustic feeling.

it looks to me like the conversion rooms with the smaller whirlpool tub have a dooor to the bedroom is that correct? If so i will take that no problem as well. I actually don't like the esign where the tub is open to the master bedroom. I have 3 little boys who I would like to keep out of the bath for the ten minutes I am in there.


The new rooms in Kidani village will those have the traditional larger whirlpool? I am sure someone posted this but I can't recall??

To each his own I guess. I love the design and think they are great. The way the kitchen in this model is set up is the exact color scheme and set up as the 1 bedrooms at Hiltons I drive location. It was very functional and very classic looking.

In Kidani Village, there is a conventional door between the living room and the master bedroom area and once inside there is a sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom. In Jambo House, there is a little hallway from the living room area. On one side of the hallway is a conventional door into the master bedroom. On the other side of the hallway is a sliding door into the bathroom.

Based on the floor plans, there is no difference in the tubs. The photos linked to by mc97 back in post #60 includes a photo of the whirlpool tub in a Kidani Village 1BR villa.
