I have just read this on the general disclosure page of the DVC website, we are thinking of buying into DVC and particularly AKV, do you guys see this as a general legal cover disclaimer allowing flexibility to change the resort or should this be viewed more significantly as the idea that in the future DVC members may not be able to use the lodge facilities?

Purchasers should not rely on the continued existence of, and access to, existing Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge amenities, such as savannas, restaurants, and recreational facilities that are not part of Membership.

thanks in advance for any replies.

It's just a general "cover your rear" disclaimer.

It basically means that Disney has no obligation to keep the current savanna, restaurants and recreation in place for the next 50 years as they currently exist. If Disney decides to replace Boma with a different style restaurant in another 20 or 30 years, this is their protection from people claiming that Disney has made changes to the resort after-the-fact.

thank you tjkraz for such a prompt response, this was my hope and understanding i just wanted some other viewpoints in case there was something wider involved. thanks again.
