AKV-Flamingo Feedings Activity?

I read on another board (the Photography board) about flamingo feedings at AKL-Jambo. Does anyone know more about this? Is it a scheduled activity? And even if so, is it just for children? I've got a solo trip coming up and I'd LOVE to do this one. If it's only for children, maybe I could be a "substitute grandmother" for the length of the activity. Or could I just show up and blend in?

Flamingo feeding is a scheduled activity. Children receive a "bead" as part of attending this activity (there are several bead activities-a bead necklace can be made after completing all activities). Honestly, the day I went with DD, I think there were as many parents as children. Have a great time!
