It would be interesting to see the % increase in dues vs. rack rate for 1 night stay year on year. In some ways we always thought it would be value if the increases in room rate was higher than the DVC.

It's hard to compare since there are so many seasons now but a standard studio during value 1 went from $345 in 2011 to $355 in 2012. A savannah studio went from $420 to $440. A standard 1 bedroom went from $480 to $500. A savannah 1 bedroom from $555 to $575. A standard 2 bedroom went from $670 to $700. A savannah 2 bedroom went from $745 to $775. All before taxes. So about 3%-5% increase. These rates were out last June so that was before dues were calculated. Another factor is discounts they will offer, I can't imagine too many people pay rack rate.

That would be nice, but I suspect it is mostly for the increase in health care and other employee costs.

But BWV housekeeping only increased 3.3%. I'm sure they have the same benefits & wages. How did AKV increase 37% (or 20% that I've read elsewhere)?
