AKV Concierge and Safari Options

I know I've seen this info before and was wondering if someone could point me towards it? ie - the Safari options at AKV including if you're staying Concierge, when you can book etc. Thanks!

Here's the information on what safari's are available at AKL from the member website:

Now Available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge:
Join us for viewings and activities honoring the wildlife on the savanna. Go on a safari, use night-vision goggles to watch the animals play at dusk, try your hand as a junior researcher, or watch animal handlers feed the pelicans and flamingos.

Sunrise Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park
Take a 30-minute safari to get an insider look at the animals, the grounds and the operation of Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. After the safari, savor a lavish breakfast buffet at the Tusker House Restaurant. Subject to availability, Park admission is required but not included. This tour is exclusive to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Kilimanjaro Club Level Concierge Guests only. Wanyama Safari
Available to all Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Guests, this three-hour safari-dinner adventure is a recreation of a true African afternoon game drive. Spend time with members from the Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Animal Programs team to learn about the natural history and management of the animal collection. Enjoy incredible photo opportunities of the animals and the architecture of the Resort. Conclude the experience with a multi-course meal at Jiko — The Cooking Place. Subject to availability. Wildlife Discovery Excursion

These book early, I called at 180 days.

DH and I want to go on two safaris in March. I called today and our information is in the system. They cannot book, because of computer dining issues, until November, but it's been noted that we have expressed an interest and our CC # has been taken.

I'm glad to be one step closer to having these great experiences!!!

I'll make a note to call at the 180 day mark - that's in Nov. so hopefully the sytem will be fully operating then and we can be confirmed right away.

We are staying in ALV Concierge for a week next April, and interestingly enough they called us! Someone from the Animal Kingdom Lodge Itinerary Planning office called and said they had noticed our upcoming visit (7 months ahead!) and wanted to offer their services for planning anything and everything - tours, dining, etc. We are assuming we got the call because of the Concierge level reservation, but no matter what, it was a nice piece of Disney Magic!

As far as the tours go....we want to book both the Sunrise Safari and a Keys to the Kingdom tour. The gentleman I spoke to took my information, and noted the November time frame for actually making the reservations. Now I won't have to worry at all about calling on the actual day....they will do it for me!!!!
