AKL to DTD

Is it reasonable to think that I could get to T-Rex from AKL within an hour? Including the wait for bus, drive, and walk to restaurant from DTD bus stop?

As long as you're traveling after 11:30 am, yes, 1 hour is just about right. I'd estimate about 50 minutes based on a 20-minute max wait time; 1 hour gives you an extra 10 minutes in case of an extended wait.

Leaving the Lodge before 11 and possibly as late as 11:30, it could take longer as buses will stop at TL before going to DTD, adding about 10 minutes to the travel time. After 11:30, they will travel straight to DTD.
