AKL to Contemp by 7:25 am for Character Breakfast?

Will it be possible to get from AKL to Contemp. by 7:25am for Chef Mickey breakfast? I'm reading that the buses start running at 7:00, will we make it on time with a bus to MK and Monorail to Contemp?

Buses start at 6:30. Be at the bus stop BY 6:30 - the next bus, about a half hour later, will be cutting too close. When you get off the bus and start walking toward the Magic Kingdom, keep an eye out to your right as you pass the last buses for a walkway (possibly with a sign) to the Contemporary). Or just ask someone for directions. By the time you walk to the monorail, wait for a monorail, and get to the Contemporary, you could have walked there

I agree with Kaytie....easier to walk to CR from MK than to get a monorail when crunched for time.

I agree that it's easier to use the walkway to the Contemporary because from the Magic Kingdom bus station you are half way there and I think by the time you would have walked to the Magic Kingdom Monorail station, you could have arrived at the Contemporary.

Thanks to you all!!!! Glad to know it's doable..it won't be easy for me that early but DS will be so excited since it's our first full day! I'll be sure to fill up my refillable mug with coffee before leaving!
