AKL Safaris?

I know they have a sunrise and sunset safari if you stay in the AKL concierge, but are there any safaris or tours of their savannahs for the non-concierge guests? That may be the deciding factor for my fiance and I. Thanks so much!

The only way you can get on the Sunrise and Sunset Safari's is to be a concierge guest at AKL. There are other tours of the AK's savanah's, like the backstage safari tour. Those tours are offered to all guests, and also cost an additional charge. They don't include the meals like the special safaris for AKL concierge guests. Also, the concierge safari's take place at AK park, not the safari's located around the AKL.

The sunrise safari leaves from the AKL and goes to the AK park. Breakfast is at the park.

The sunset safari tours the savannahs at the AK Lodge with dinner at Jiko.

While guest not staying concierge can't take these safaris, there are friendly CMs at the overlooks at the AKL who will tell you all kinds of info on the animals.
