Does anyone know, can you walk to the Animal Kingdom from the Animal Kingdom Lodge??

While technically, it is possible, there is no specific path or sidewalk for such a trip (as best as I can remember).

The hotel and the park are close, but I don't think they're that close. The bus ride was less than 5 minutes and the wait wasn't longer than 15 minutes (tops). It would take at least that long to walk it and the bus is safer (since no sidewalks between the two).

Hi there... it is really far to the main gates..

The bus goes in a private roadway that the public cannot access by walking...

The main public street is busy - I don't even think there are sidewalks and I think it would be a really long walk through the massive parking lot to the entrance.

This is a great sight if you need to see how long it takes to get from 2 points using various modes of transportation.

Says 6 minutes by car...too far to walk. I don't remember seeing any routes to take by foot either.

No, you can't. Disney doesn't allow walking where there is no sidewalk, and there isn't one there. DH was jogging along the road there and got picked up by the Mickey cops who duly deposited him back on his new running path--the AKL parking lot.
