AKL pool - closing time?

Does the pool at AKL close at 12 am for sure?? DF and I are nightowl's and would love to soak in the hot tub past this time. Does the pool/hot tub always close at 12??

My experience is that while there is no lifeguard or attendant... provided you are quiet and respectful, they won't ask you to leave the pool area.

If the group gathered there (large or small) gets noisy enough to generate complaints from nearby rooms, then security will come along and politely ask you to return to your room; pointing to the hours sign indicating it is closed.

That's my experience anyway.

The pool is open from 7am to 12am midnight.
