ITA. In three AKL CL stays, we've had really nice views every time. It's wonderful to have a guaranteed Arusha Savanna view. :goodvibes

(The view situation may be different for the DVC (timeshare) CL rooms, I'm not sure we aren't DVC.)

This is probably a dumb question but all reservations are under my father in law and I never even thought to think of where are you was. He is a DVC member and we have a grand villa in Kidani. What do you is that classified as are all Grand Villas the same view?

Question for the AKL/AKV vets or recent visitors!

I'm looking to get a large container of soy milk or almond milk (NOT the single serve pouches they sell for $3.19/each), can anyone tell me if they carry this in the grocery section and how much it would roughly cost?

I know you aren't looking for the 8-ounce size, but just to let you know we travel with them all the time. From Amazon. $1.50 each.

Thank you for the additional info. I guess the only reason why I'm asking about the large ones at the resort is because it might be cheaper for what I need? I need about 8-12 "single serve" things of soy milk or almond milk to mix with medication stuff for my GI troubles. In February I bought the individual ones each day, and I'm still kicking myself over it. :rotfl2:

The ones you get from Amazon, are they cold or the un-refrigerated kind?

(If anyone still has an answer to my original question, please let me know!)

They do not require refrigeration, but you can refrigerate them if you like your milk cold. We just put them in zip-lock bags, two in each, and pack them in our check-in. I use them for coffee and cappuccino. They had it on the ship, but it was plain and the vanilla tastes so much better. One pouch would fit in my husband's pocket when we went to dinner or the coffee place. Worked great for us. Easy to carry around. You can always have them mailed by Amazon to the resort from what I've read on these boards.
Good luck,
Jennie

Online check-in question. My friends have 2 rooms booked for their trip. One of the rooms is a savannah view and the other is a poolview. What requests can/should they make? I'm not sure what the options are.

.....I would request Zebra Trail/same floor. That way, they could both be on the same 'arm' of AKL - one room on one side of the hallway and the other on the other side....

:rotfl2: 250? Doesn't it explode or something once you reach 250 :rotfl2:

Seriously... is anyone planning to start a new thread to keep this subject alive... Planning a trip to AKL CL in May 2015 and want to keep my nose in planning mode :)
