Just got back from AKL yesterday.
Stayed at the Polynesian and then transferred to the AKL last Thursday.

PIXIE DUST! Got a free upgrade to an Arusha Savannah view room.
Had a standard savannah view booked.

New fridge in room, great food in all of the eateries as usual, lots of animals.
I even found out where the bunnies live this trip as it was in the rocks right under our balcony...lol.

Please add us to the list June 28-July6; we'll be celebrating DD's high school graduation. We stayed at AKL on our first family trip 10 years ago. AKL was, hands-down, her resort of choice for this, our last family trip before she goes out into the world. Can't wait to be back!

Testing for the Magic Bands and FP+ is only through the end of October. No one knows for certain yet what happens after November 1. Hopefully we will all find out soon!

Hi folks!

I have been scrolling through pages and pages of AKL and Kidani threads hoping to find one of the maps that shows the room categories and room types for each floor. I have used them in the past for other DVC properties but despite hours of reading and scrolling, I am coming up with nothing.

The resort itself is beautiful, you will be WOWed the second you step into the lobby. Mara is possibly the best CS and Boma's is to die for. Love the Breakfast buffet.
I spent hours upon hours of just touring the resort and taking photos both of the resort and the animals.
I only stayed at AKL once before but am very excited to be returning. You will love it there. Most unique resort on Disney property or anywhere!
