I've been out shopping this morning, it was great as we normally don't head out until like midday, but we were at the mall for 10 today and it was empty! Will certainly do that again in future, made such a difference!

I got a great bag for flight carryon. It's the smallest one in this image, the round one:

But mine is pink with white spots. I love it and it's a great size for my laptop too.

I also saw this bag which I really want for my WDW park bag:

It's all little different animals which I thought was very in keeping with my AKL trip!

I love how Henry says Daddy..."Mommy"! No matter what, he will NOT say Daddy! When he finally does, there will be much rejoicing in our house!

here's a question about that chocolate heart thingy...did you order it or was it given to you and was it for a certain occasion? Was thinking of ordering three of them for my kids arrival day. We are staying CL in August if that makes any difference.

I'm a super proud Mommy and I have to share these...

Henry is starting to learn some words-he says some very clearly, others not so much...does sign language for some and sounds for others!

Joe and I "quiz" Henry on his words and think it's adorable...so, I wanted to share.

3for Me - I'm glad to be able to help! Not sure I'll be especially helpful in this instance, sorry to say. Those chocolate hearts were done for turndown, we didn't order them or have a special occasion of any kind.

The only thing I could figure out was that, maybe, they were a special turndown treat for club level guests? Since we haven't stayed at AKL for a couple years (and our last stay was a std. room), I don't know if that is now the practice. Anyone else know? Anyway, they left one each day of our stay, so we had 3 or 4 to take home with us by the end of our 5-night stay. (the girls ate a couple, lol)

I must say, we were very impressed with the level of service we received for our AKL CL stay. They took such good care of us, and we loved every minute of our visit. I loved it so much, I spent most of my time at the resort!

brookelizabeth - your little guy is adorable! I loved the way he said "daddy", too, you've trained him well!

3for Me - I'll keep my fingers crossed that they are still putting out the hearts at turndown. I know you'll love your AKL visit, it is a beautiful resort. It is tied with the GF as our favorite, and we've now tried all the deluxe resorts except the Contemporary.

I am excited I was able to book Kidani for 2 nights in May , then I changed my last 2 nights in Sept to a 1bdr at Kidani too!
I am thinking I may like it there!

You need to go to a lot of evening EMH where you have to show your room key at every attraction!!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day here in Virginia. This is a small winery in our area that has some decent wines as well as an area out in the vineyard where you can take a bottle and some cheese and crackers. We sat out there for almost 2 hours!

Looks like a fabulous afternnon! Her spring has finally arrived as well and we went to eat ice cream this Saturday!!

Just got home from work - I have ironing to do this evening really - but I'm putting it off by DISing......I'm not very good at ironing, but Jack has never done it at all, so unless I want our clothes ruined I have no choice.

What I do like is that because of the 4 day week, it is technically like tuesday evening, not Monday - yay!

Do you guys have fun plans for the long weekend?

I have none so far and am very happy with that! Although with both families pulling us I know we'll end up doing something we don't want to.

I'm praying we don't have anymore snow!! This was my street a few weeks ago - we couldn't drive anywhere for a week as our road is private so the grit trucks don't come down it.

Cool, I love Chicago! Beautiful city, you are very lucky to live there!! Although I went in summer. I'm not a fan of snow really, so I feel your pain!

If I lived in the States I would certainly head on down to the south. Although I'm also not desperate to meed a hurricane, tornado or earthquake.......hmmmm. Maybe I'm best in the boring, low boring temperatures of the UK.
