I found a few photos, but I think you will be disappointed! Most of the photos of the lobby were very dark, for some reason, and we didn't take many of the room. I have some older photos, but my DD has them on her computer at college.

I am excited I was able to book Kidani for 2 nights in May , then I changed my last 2 nights in Sept to a 1bdr at Kidani too!
I am thinking I may like it there!

Same here! DD and I did the Wanyama in July (RachelTori your pics are SO much better than mine) and we had our dinner alone. The group we did the safari portion with was celebrating a birthday and had a separate dinner later that evening at Jiko. I had done Wanyama once before in 2005 and had a blast with my good friend and one other (male) guest
Our dinner was yummy last summer but our sous chef wasn't that into it... Anyway, hope you don't mind that I add my pics. (BTW, we had Rick too! He was a sweetie He and Leisl were our guides)

I know it...I was completely away from the DIS for about 4 days. We were really busy this past weekend - no wonder I ended up with a sick day from work today - no sleep, running all over tarnation and the Children's Museum=major germ factory!

Henry is doing great! He had a bit of a sniffle too, but nothing to slow him down!

WE HAVE A DILEMA IN MY HOUSEHOLD. I NEED YOUR HELP!
Now, I haven't started my PTR, so for those of you who follow my TRs/PTRs, please keep this on the down-low!

For our December trip we are looking to move our trip to the last week in December, staying over NEW YEARS! (so stinkin' excited for those fireworks!)

However, we have DMIL, DFIL, DSIL, Joe, Henry and I all going and our new trip dates prices us out of Kidiani 2 bedroom (whoa points!). So, we are looking at, either a two bedroom in Jambo House, or 2 Studios in Kidiani.

I want Kidani because it's new!!

BUT, we do plan on making several meals to help the budget. (there is more to this trip than just Disney, but I'm keeping that part secret!)

So...a 1 bedroom is more sensible.

But...but...but...Kidani...it's pretty and new...and big new pool with splash area that I can see Henry loving...it's new...pretty...

Please convince me it will be fine and I should be happy with a 2 bed at Jambo House regardless because I get to go to Disney...period!!

-ANYWHERE at Disney is better than not!
-Shut your trap, you get to go to Disney!
-Uh...hello? It's AKL, it's pretty no matter where you are!
-You still get to use the pool area, sure, it's 1/2 a mile away, but you can still go there!
-The Mara. Zebra Domes are in the basement. Think about that.
-Two words. Boma Breakfast. In YOUR hotel building.

Give me some stuff like that. Please, I need some convicing.

I gotta get on the horn with MS and get this baby booked...hopefully they still have room at the inn!

Hmmm Disney over Christmas? Why Jambo House? Is Kidani all booked? If so, then I would book Jambo and then waitlist for Kidani.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the photos, I do wish they had been better, though. I'm loving everyone else's photos, the food pictures from Jiko are making me drool, as are the Zebra domes. And the safari pictures are fun, especially the one with the giraffe leaning in, cute!
