I go through my user CP too -- so I had no clue what you guys were talking about.

And we do get off topic from AKL a lot, but that's one of the reasons I hang out with you guys!

.....well, I didn't request the change - I hve no idea why it was moved backto the Resorts Board....we do supply a lot of AKL info here, but we also chat.....who knows?:confused3

How cool!

Someone posted that there was a feeding station off of Kudu? Does anyone know more about that? Oh, just occurred to me that maybe they meant Kudu Trail but Sunset side? Near the Sunset overlook?:confused3

Quoting myself:rotfl::rotfl: to ask again??:goodvibes

I'm checking in... Happy to see you on the Resorts Board (I THINK that's a good thing :surfweb:)
Just ret'd from a week at the Poly and
Did. Not. Make. It. To. AKL. Once. :headache:

Gotta go back ASAP  Hopefully late July??

The one night I wanted to go to Jiko, my daughter (age 12) told me she didn't like Jiko and never had! :scared: She was surely exaggerating but I decided to "stay in" and dine at Kona as she requested.

Anyway, is anyone going soon? I need a pic fix!

Well, I wish my son didn't like Jiko. I should mention the story of how he woofed down three (yes, 3) pb&j sandwiches at Jiko! That was an expensive "kid's" meal! Now, he wants to go all the time! :scared1:

I hate to think what a pb&j costs at Jiko. :scared1:

Ok, now I have to go over to allears and look.

Hey, you! I haven't been on FB once tonight! LOL

You know, I don't remember because the PB&J was overshadowed by my $15 a glass DeToren Fusion V!!! :rotfl2::lmao:

That must have helped the sticker shock! ;)

Hey, look at your ticker! That will be a great trip! Are you going to the San Diego Zoo? It's amazing! :thumbsup2

I've been getting email alerts, finally, when there is a new post to this thread. I have been lurking on the Disneyland sites to soak up information for my upcoming trip (tips on restaurants, etc.). So, I guess it emails for all subscribed threads.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I've been multi-tasking: FB and the DIS at the same time.

Ok, I looked it up and the answer is

$6 for the PB&J at Jiko. I hope that it was an awesome PB&J.

Yeah, it was ridiculous! Just Ben and me...I think it was like $90! I need to stay away until Phil comes to town! I can't afford myself LOL.

Yes, my ticker! Woo hoo! This was originally a business trip for Phil, and we were to join him. Well, business cancelled, so we're going anyway. It's Ben's school break, and we're really psyched.

We are starting out three nights at The Grand Californian, doing Disneyland and CA Adventure. Possibly having an "in" at Club 33 (really excited about that...hope it comes through), and then two nights mid San Diego (San Diego Zoo, some shopping, USS Midway, and anything else that looks good), then we check into The Hotel Del Coronado for two nights. We are having Easter Brunch at The Crown Room at the Del, which I hear is "over the top." Can't wait. This was an unexpected trip, and we are very excited.

Wow. And I won't let my kids buy pb&j for school lunch because it costs $2.25! Well, seriously, I can make it for less than a dollar! Money saved for WDW! :cool1:

This sounds like an awesome trip! You'll have to tell us about it when you get back.

I am still hoping to take my oldest nephew to So. Cal this summer but we won't be doing DL. Neither him nor his mother are big Disney fans. :confused3 Obviously that sister was switched at birth because my other sister loves Disney. :lmao:

So, Ben ate like a king for what one glass of my wine costs! :rotfl: Oh well, it's the cost of doing business.

That sounds great! DH has relatives in San Diego, so we stayed with them a few years ago and did the Zoo, etc. We walked through the Hotel del Coronado - really beautiful! Try to get over to La Jolla if you have time. It's a ritzy little shopping/eating area, and seals often come right up and sunbathe on the beach. :beach: We also went in some sea caves that were really neat...but I can't remember off the top of my head where that was...I'll have to find my pictures because I would have written on the back.

OMG, HOW CAN SOMEONE NOT LIKE DISNEY! :scared1::rolleyes::sad2: Thank goodness there are plenty of other things to do in SoCal.

Look for lots of mobile uploads on my Facebook. I'll post some good pics on this thread when I get home.

Hey! Just got back from an AWESOME first stay at AKL! I'll be sure to post photos once I get back to school and have access to my computer. I LOVED IT!

Ooh... I LOVED La Jolla when I went a few years ago. GORGEOUS! Loved Solana Beach, Laguna Beach and San Clemente too! Southern California is incredible!

Have a great trip! I'd love to see your pics.
