AKL LITE II - We're #2, but we try harder....

Hi everyone

My girlfriend and I go to Disney World at least once a year and this will be the first time we stay at AKL. We've previously stayed at POP, ASMo, ASMu, POR, and CSR, so this will be our first Deluxe Resort stay. We already have all of our ADRs in place, Illuminations cruise booked, and Wanyama Safari reservations (after weeks of problems getting that set up). I got all of the "must-do's" from these boards, so I think there's nothing left for us to do but suffer through the wait until we finally go.

Just want to say thanks to everyone on the boards for helping us plan our vacation. Every year I learn something new from the boards. The first year we went we had no reservations for anything, so I think we've come a long way since then .

Hi, everybody! I can't keep up with all of you, lol!

We leave in 31 days (woot, woot!) and my DH asked last night if I'd booked a breakfast at Boma (we're staying at Pop this time). I had not, so I guess I'll be doing that today -- on a day that we'll have enough time to walk over to Kidani to look around.

Donald, thanks for the advice. I am aware of the fact that renting points involves quite a bit of trust. Being a lawyer and having worked at the DA's office, I am aware of the risks of being cheated. But I still believe that it is possible to take safeguards to minimize risks. However, this is one of the reasons why I am still hesitating whether it is the right thing for me...

Hey Guys,

I love this thread and I have read pages and pages of great info! My family is going to AKL and WDW in 4 weeks. This is a first trip for my DH 39, DS 6 and DS 2.5. I just upgraded to the CL(this is a surprise) and we have the Dining Plan. We have reservations for WC on the first night, Biergarten at Epcot and Boma one night. We only have 4 days in the parks, so i am just winging the rest of the dining. I am rambling ---

Basically I want to know if anyone has advice for a trip at AKL with younger kids. My 6 yr old is an animal nut and can't wait. I think we will have a hard time getting him out of the resort - which is fine if he is having fun. Any suggestions are welcome.
