AKL last-minute upgrade question

I was wondering if it is ever possible to pay for an upgrade to concierge when checking in at AKL? I had read a post from someone who had done this at WL, but wasn't sure if it was possible at AKL.

I got a great FL resident rate on a savannah-view room for mid-October, but there were no more concierge rooms available at the discounted rate for my dates.

First of all, I'd keep calling CRO. With cancellations all the time, you may be able to snag a concierge room at some point.

If not, ask at check in if they could upgrade you to a concierge room. They may give you a reasonable rate to try and sell it. And if it's still too expensive, just stick with your original room.

Hi there.... it is possible to upgrade to concierge at AKL but not cheaply like at WL.

WL charges anywhere from 35.00 - 60-ish a night...

From what I have heard AKL will charge you the difference between what you paid and the rack rate for concierge

Thanks for the help. My family & I are really looking forward to our first stay at AKL-and our first trip to WDW in almost 2 years-no matter what room we get.
