I have a room booked at AKL (Savannah view) but it is two queen beds. This is my partner's first trip to Disney and I want him to love it. I was hoping for a King bed, but haven't seen any availability and when I called Disney they said there were no king beds - but there are pictures of rooms with king beds. Should I ask them to put it in notes? Any suggestions? Thanks!!

What kind of room do you have booked?

I have a double queen room booked? I could move to Kidani where there is a king bed for almost the same price. I haven't stayed there so don't know how it compares.

That's not a booking category. Is it a Standard View, Pool View, Savanna View, Savanna View Club Level?

I'm sorry - it is a Savanna View.

No worries. There are no Kings in the Savanna View category. In order to get a room with a King you have some options. You would have to specifically book a Savanna View King room, a Standard View King room, Savanna View Club Level room or a Pool View Room. Although with both the Pool View Room and the Savanna Club Level Room a King would only be a request, but they do have them.

We booked a standard view and our first night all they could give us was a queen room. We were able to switch the second night for the rest of our stay in a king room and it had an amazing view of the animals.
