AKL bunk bed rooms and valet parking

I have two questions. First, are any of the bunk bed rooms standard view rooms? Is there anywhere I can find out where they are located? And my second question is about valet parking at AKL. When I was there in July, the valet parking fee was $6 a day. We will be taking two cars and parking one for the duration when we get there. Obviously, I don't want valet parking for that car. The other car will be the one we use to go to the parks. My sister is handicapped and we have a handicapped sticker. We will need to pay for valet parking? Are there handicapped spaces available close to the motel where we can self park? I am just not a valet parking type! LOL!
Thanks!

hi, we just stayed at the akl , but we stayed in the savannah view with bunk beds, im sure when you check in, you can ask them for a room with bunk beds. the savannah view, over looked the fire pit and the animals are in the court yard from 3:00pm to noon the next day, we left our sliding door open all night, was very peaceful, but i found we were watching the animals sleeping all night. its well worth the extra $$ for that view. the bunk beds were great but my 2 kids both wanted to sleep on the top bunk.
as far as the handicap parking, yes. just pull up front and unload your guest and park in the lot, right across from the front entrance. and they charge $6 a day for valet parking, so its easier tojust drop everyone off and park. any more questions just ask, have a magical time.

First, there is NO fee for valet if you have a handicap tag/hanger/sticker, the fee is waived - this is FOR all DELUXE resorts not just the one you are staying at. We had my mother along in September and used valet all the time at NO charge.

For the second car, I would tell them that you wish to self park the car and they wil not charge you the fee.

As for the rooms, yes there are standard bunk bed rooms - I am not sure of the location but were told that they do exist. we had one reserved for our July trip, but had the good fortune of being upgraded when we checked in to a Savannah view.

Hope this helps.

Just writing to agree with jiminyfan. There is not a fee for valet parking if you have a handicapped parking permit issued by your state. If you are just not the valet parking type and want to self-park, there are handicapped spots available at each resort, but they are not really that close. Each resort does have a place where you could drive up, unload your passengers and then self park, if that's what you prefer to do.
