Well after a long semi sleepness night, we awoke about 8am and called the eye doctor at Celebration as instructed the day before. Expecting to be fit in later that day well she said come right down, So after a quick shower and rally of assorted troops, SIL and DS9 went to meet Aunt and her crew at the pool, the 2 teens decided to stay at AKL's pool for the day. Me, nana and twins head to the eye DOc at Celebration. Nana take other twin outside to Play in the fountain area near Market street, I go up with the injured guy. Well as I enter the office a woman was ranting and screaming it seems she went to the wrong office and they did her exam and did not take her insurance so she now owed $65.00. Well it got ugly when I say rant I mean rant... It got so bad I had to take my son out to the hall as he started to cry> I wanted to slap her I swear> I am sorry if you want to complain do it in writing properly and do not subject small kids to screaming bull. Ok..... Well after that we saw a very nice Doc who said he would be fine just to be careful and he was to wear sunglasses for a few days, and I could take him off the coedine, Which was welcome news to me as it was making him nuts!!!!!So Back to Boardwalk... after a stop at the Nike outlet as his brother has lost a sandal and being that I had wanted to pack light had only brought one pair! everyone was assembeled at the pool save for Aunt and Uncle who were at The SSR open house with DVC. We had a few Mickey bars played in the kiddie area which by the way is very, very hot under your feet, The spraying elephants are a hit with both little ones however, but it is so hot by the cannonball slide we can not even use it. so off we go to the Main pool and have a Mickey bar! Aunt returns, we discuss Dvc a little. she was not enamored of SSR. She does however enjoy Old Key west. So I encourage her to bag SSr and look for a Old Key West resale. I firmly believe you should buy where you enjoy staying the most. So we will see on that. So aafter that we split and they went to Epcot. Nana joined them. After a shower which would prove to be fruitfless... we head to Epcot as well. Me Sil, ds9 and twins. We do Figment first, leave Image works postpaste, they always take off in there. Head to the land whereseeds in 65 minutes, no thanks! we do Food rocks twice. The little guys love it. After that we head to Test Track, Sil and Ds9 go on and I take little boys to a shop. Thier Birthday was the next day and I had planned on getting them a talking Zurg $20, and a Buzz spaceship $30. So we did that and sat in the plaza area and opended the boxes out of necessity. They were to impossible to carry. Chatted with a nice woman from Scotland Who said well you bought 2 of each toy?????
I said well thier are 2 of them
Can't they share? well no. This always bugs the bejeez out of me. They are 2 different people who happen to share the same birthday. And should be treated that way. pet peeve of mine sorry.....Anyway after meeting up with Sil and ds9. we call nana on the cell, call the teens and we all meet. After much arguement, Teens want to bag it and go to Sizzler Nana says ok even though she wants to do the countries. Babys want to do the Spaceship earth for some reason they love it. It is determined we will do that together and then nana will take teens and leave, Sil and ds will do misson space. twins and I will walk back and take a big tubby. We get on spaceship earth and it starts to rain we can here it hitting the ball. Kind of reaky. The ride stops in a very dark part for about 10 minutes, this was not appreciated. Mostly by the teens who did not want to be there anyway So after that we came out into th middle of torrential frightening, downpours and Lightening. Looking like it was hitting the ball.
We were ushered into Guest relations, were we remained stranded for 2 hours. This was not fun, twins became insane literally flipping over backwards!!!!Much to the dismay of other stranded travelers. They were telling us all transportation was halted and there were tornadoes touching down. We were soaked starving and everyone had to pee. Not fun in any capacity. I will say some people were very nasty to guest relations as if they were responsible for the storm. Ok you dolt, go run and have a good time. stupid, it was for your own safety you had to sit there!!!! Soa fter that brief stint in hell. we cabbed it back to Boardwalk, Nana, sil, and teens went to Boma. Me ds9, and twins who would be 3 the next day returned to Boardwalk. When we opened the door, they had a little party waiting for them, Balloons, blow outs, a new stitch cup. 2 little personnalized cakes streamers, Fan napkins. so cute. Thank you Boardwalk Villas!!!! All of this complimentary by the way! So we ended our day with a little private party! thats the end of part 5. tommorow the last installment we return home!
