Well, just as I am about to become unglued and start screaming like a fishwife... down the hall he comes with a maintance guy. He was sleepwalking. Now let me say he has never done this in his life. NEVER. I was shaking and I wanted to throw up. In he comes I put him to bed with me and the babies now theres 4 of us in this bed. I barricade the door with carriage and luggage, SIL never wakes up. The only thing I can figure is he had been real nervous earlier as we had flown the day of the rolling blackouts and he was concerned over that being terroist related and combined with being so overtired I guess thats what happened with him?????? So we sleep till 10 am. no more wandering, And decide to got to the concirege (SP) lounge, Which was perfect for us, lots of fresh fruit and cereal for the kids, If you were there the morning of the 15th, those were my twins getting chased from the rail over and over!!!! I really enjoyed the lounge it was very convienant to pop up with the kids and grab a soda or a snack for the little ones. One of my toddlers loves any fruit so he was in his glory. Off we go to the pool. We spent our first day in the pool and playground area. Another family memeber who happened to be there at the same time extended by a day to attend e-ride with us, on the 15th. So she came to the Lodge. and all the cousins swam and played all day. it was absolutely the best day there, We all ate at Mara. Got a few frozen drinks, (virgin ones) All in all a wonderful day. I am most partial to the AKL pool. It has zero entry and is a shallow walk all around. Its deep enought to get wet and shallow enought to comfortably walk around with a baby/child on your hip. My DS 9 thinks the slide is lame. But the rest of the pool is cool. At about 5:30. I leave the twins in the room with my mother and go off to the lounge to get some soda and milk. There is noone there, So I had a fireworks cruise booked for the next night and wanted to add the birthday package. So I sat down with Ann to see if she could arrange that for me. In the course of the conversation, we get into the whole room dilemma and she is agast, That we are using an air mattress. for $300 per night. She asks would I be willing to move. I say yes, as long as we keep our savannah view. I thank her and go off to the room, Tell everybody to get thier stuff together, A bellman arrives and takes us to 5285. Let me just say wow, the Clampetts have moved to Beverly Hills!!!!!! 5285. is a fabulous 1 bedroom suite. GEORGOUS!!!!!!! I am now loving ANN!!!!We had a round balcony huge, fabulous view, A bathroom to die for. a bedroom and full living room and kitchenette. I could never leave the room and have a great vacation. At about 7pm as everyone was getting ready for e-ride the twins fell asleep. So I opted to stay back and just let them sleep the night. Everyone went off to the Magic Kingdom to enjoy e-ride. I njoyed some peace. I ordered room service, sat on the balcony all by myself adn read and relaxed. It was priceless. Took lots of photos of the suite< I wish I could figure out how to post them!!!! So when they returned at 1am. off we went to bed. (after I barricaded the door of course) So after a rocky start we had a great first day!!!!
