Here's a link to the map of Jambo. In a 1 br. DVC savanna view villa in Jambo you will be on the 5th floor on either Zebra trail (hallway to the right of the lobby) or Kudu trail (hallway to the left of the lobby.)
All three savannas your villa might overlook have giraffes. Many years ago that was not true, but there have been giraffes on all 3 savannas for a long time now.
The space in the middle is Arusha savanna. Villas on both Zebra and Kudu trails front this savanna.
The space to the right of the lobby beyond the pool, w/ villas facing it also from Zebra trail is called Uzima savanna. Uzima is actually the same acreage as Arusha savanna, but it feels smaller to some as it is configured differently. If you have visited the resort and wandered the grounds before, Uzima is the savanna you see from the pool overlook at Jambo. When I was there in Dec. the 2 baby giraffes were on Uzima with their mothers. However, they do move the animals around based on husbandry needs (and also to/from AK park occasionally) so I don't know if the babies are still on Uzima. My avatar, Gordon, for example, started in AK on the big Killimanjaro safari savanna, but had gotten himself into some trouble there so was moved to Uzima savanna at AKL, but he had a tendency to try to walk out the Uzima gates so he was relocated to Arusha savanna last I heard (where he and a younger male giraffe co-conspirator were happily trashing the plantings.)
On the left side of the lobby is Sunset savanna, which has savanna view villas fronting it from Kudu trail. Sunset savanna lies between Jambo and the villas at Kidani and is the largest of the savannas (I seem to recall that it is 18 acres v. 11 acres at Arusha & Uzima - but this is going off memory from a Wanyama safari, so don't hold me to the numbers, please

.) Sunset was originally the same size as Arusha and Uzima, but was expanded when they built Kidani.
