We got reservations for 10:50am breakfast ends at 11:10 will they rush us in and out? This is the only meal that matters to our dd- she's already planning what she will wear and cards to make for the princesses (another question will they accept cards made? )
THANKS

No they won't rush you.

They will start switching over the cold buffet, so grab what you want as it will probably change before you can get seconds. You will still be served the breakfast platter/skillet.

Not sure about the cards, probably they will.

I'm not sure if they can take the cards or not. I honestly cannot imagine them carrying them around to all the tables with them, worrying about where to put them and trying to keep them out of everyone else's photos until a character handler can come over and take it back for them. Maybe they have a way of signaling the character handler to take it for them?

Oh, you might want to explain the handlers to your daughter.

My niece gave Pluto a pluto balloon from the dance party at DHS. He passed it off to his handler and my niece was upset-she thought the CM was taking it. I had to explain that Pluto couldn't hold the balloon, he had to visit with other people so the CM was taking it to keep it safe for Pluto.

Good call. There is another thread all about goodie sacks for the CM's you should check that out, it may have some reference in there. I cannot imagine them holding on to those cards as well, it is a super sweet thought for your DD wanting to do this. If she does you should send her a post card back home from the princesses while you are there so she gets a thank you when she gets home. I do this every year for DD and she is always so delighted. they always tell her they were happy to see her again and hurry back soon. It sounds like your DD would appriciate something like that.

On your other question, I have had a late ADR for breakfast and I planned that for the next trip, we have a 10:35am. You get the breakfast ( in my opinion the best meal they offer) and then they tell you are welcome to go back up and visit the cold lunch bar before leaving.

We also have a 10:50am breakfast there on the 19th.

I was even lucky enough to be offered an 8:15am slot, but decided against.

I think my family would mutiny if I tried to make them to get breakfast for 8:15am after being up until 12/1am for MNSSHP the night before. :rotfl:

I keep checking out the available reservations however, on the off-chance that I may get something a little earlier but late enough. Like 10:30, or 10:15.

Good luck with it! That's the same problem we have trying to figure out what to do the days after doing MVMCP twice in December!

Akershus was the one that I changed after booking everything the exact day and time at 180 days out.

I decided that I really didn't want to do MNSSHP on the Friday night so I switched it to Monday. That messed up Akershus. Luckly I was able to get another breakfast on Sunday at 11am.

It worked well as I somehow miss counted how many park days I had and I ended up with another park day to fit in and it's on the Tuesday after the MNSSHP which I already had a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's.
