Akershaus - thumbs up or down?

Have PS for 5/24 - DH and I can handle the food - we like smoked salmon etc. an the wraps look like a good lunch choice for kids. What I want to know is what type of "princess" interaction goes on? My DD2.5 is really starting to love the princesses and I guess what I am really asking is........is it worth it?

We did the breakfast when my DDs were 6 and I'd say it was definitely worth it. Each princess (we saw Aurora, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, and I think Belle) came to the table, signed our autograph books and poseed for pictures. One of my girls loves Jasmine and she wore her Jasmine costume that day and it was very nice because Jasmine spent a little more time with her and really did some good posing with my daughter for those pictures! And now my understanding is that Ariel (in her white gown) is often at Akershus so if your DD likes The Little Mermaid then it's a must since there aren't many places to see(&/or meet) Ariel.

 

[Princess Wannabe]

We were there for dinner 2 weeks ago, and it was definitely worth it. The inside of the restaurant is very 'castle-like'; the food was pretty good; and the princesses were very sweet with my daughter. Ariel was in a dark emerald green gown that night, and was showing off her 'feet' to anyone who asked!

We did the princess breakfast and it was worth it. Get there early and watch the princess open the door with a child. It is definately worth it. The food was my kids favorite. We thought when we were seated back in the corner to the left when you come in that we had bad seats. We were not in the main room but quickly found out it was awesome. The princesses came out the doors there and we had a lot of undivided attention before they really started circulating. It was my DD's (8&6) at the time, favorite princess experiences. I highly recommend it. Make PS as close to 90 days out as possible to get a great seat.
