AK, YC/BC on Travel Channel

Did anyone catch AK, YC/BC on Travel Channel's Destination USA show last night (9 pm est) The show featured Florida's best hotels and AK was voted Best Themed Hotel and YC/BC was voted Best Family Friendly Hotel. They had lots of footage of each hotel with great info. It was so nice to see the hotels on a tv show instead of photos on the web, it gave a much better feel for the hotels. I'm not crazy about the host of the show, but I enjoyed watching anyway.

I suppose it helps to be a guy though. I can see where she might get on your nerves otherwise.

I think she is cute and has a great job; I suppose I'm jealous of her job, I WANT IT!!! LOL

I don't know what it is about her, she just bugs me!! But I still watch the show all the time!!

OH BOY, Dh can't stop ripping on her every time we see that show. I would really like her job. I have seen that Florida's best hotels episode. She also does the BC/YC and AKL on that 1/2 hour show great hotels. It seems as if one of them is on every 2 weeks or so.

Glad I could help! I kept forgetting to watch these so I finally tracked down the schedule--that Travel Channel website is like a maze-lol! I have the site bookmarked and they also send me an email reminder the morning that the show is on so I don't miss it. Glad it helped!

DH and I love Samantha too - so it's not just a guy thing. We like the self depreciating humor - here she is in a super deluxe hotel, acting like a dork (like us!).

This show will air on Sunday 3-16 at 4pm EST on the Travel Channel. I think this was the show mentioned in the original post. I have not seen it and have made myself a reminder to be sure to watch.

We have seen this show plus the one just on AK. Now my 10 year old insist that we stay at the AK on our trip this year. We have reservations at All Stars so now I am waiting for a post card or code with the hopes of getting a good rate at the AK. I would love to stay there too. BTW. MY DS LOVES Samantha Brown so she appeals to the younger males too. LOL

The first time i watched that show, i wondered how Samantha Brown got a job like that. How fun!! That is definatly a dream job of mine.
