We're preparing for a trip to wdw the week after Thanksgiving and into the first week of December. We were considering taking advantage of am emh at AK on one day, but it occurred to me that the animals might not be too active in the early morning if it's very cool. Should we be aiming to ride KS in the later morning/early afternoon during that time of year? Is there a temperature point we could watch for, like perhaps we're fine as long as it's 60 degrees or higher but if it's dipping into the 50's at night we might want to wait 'til later in the day or something like that? We were last there in September so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Thanks!

Different animals will be active in different weather.. disney has things to encourage them to be in view no matter what the weather is. morning is feeding time I believe so in my experience, most active near breakfast time and then eventually just lay around later waiting for the next time to "hunt" aka be fed.

We went to AK the day after thanksgiving in Nov 2014. I don't remember if it was an EMH. It was chilly that day, I think the high was about 65 or 70F if I remember correctly. We did KS earlier in the day and did not notice any real different from the times we went in May or Sept in previous trips. Lots of animals. We wore sweatshirts and I remember being chilly that morning, I never realized how much shade is in that park! I kept trying to stay in the sun to keep warm!!!

I just noticed your signature, that is impressive a triple split stay!!! We've only split two resorts in one trip.
