My family & I will be seeing the Hoop Dee Do Musical Review at 7:15 on the same day we visit Animal Kingdom and would like to go straight from the park to Ft Wilderness. Will there be WDW buses to ft. wilderness? Also what would be our best way back to our hotel POFQ?

Yes, there is a bus to FW but give yourself at least an hour travel time. But, there is no direct bus to POFQ from FW. You will either have to go to DTD or any park, and transfer to a resort bus.

Unless things have changed, the bus from AK to FW will drop you off near the front of FW, and Pioneer Hall is near the back. You'll need to wait for a FW internal shuttle bus to get you to Hoop.

After Hoop, your best bet, in my opinion, is to take the very short walk to the boat dock (about 2 minutes down the path that Pioneer Hall is on), and take the boat to Magic Kingdom. From MK, you can catch a POFQ bus.

I agree with CleveRocks about the trip home, as long as the MK is still open. If it has closed early for some reason, I would take a bus to DTD and transfer there.
There are often (I don't know if always) buses queue'd up near the exit of the HDDR to take guests back to their resorts. It is not the usual route, and you may share with another resort, but that is the easiest way to het "home".

When we stayed at the POFQ there was a bus that took us directly to the resort instead of transferring. Plus, I saw that your trip is scheduled for September (?) and the parks do not stay open as long in September. When we stayed at the POFQ in 8/04 we did the 8:00 seating of the Spirit of Aloha at the Poly and the only way home was to take a bus from the Poly to DTD and then home. It ended up taking over an hour to get back to the room. The CMs wouldn't let you board the Monorail unless you were staying at one of the monorail resorts.

That was the only thing I didn't like about the luau so we didn't reschedule that when we returned in 8/06.
